Steve Harvey Selects NewTek TriCaster to Live Stream Daily Morning Radio Show

February 01, 2010 -- DMN Newswire--2010-2-1-- NewTek Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading video and 3D animation products, today announced that TriCaster portable live production system is being used by the Steve Harvey Morning Show to live stream video from the nationally-syndicated radio program. The live stream, which airs Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 a.m. CT/6:00 to 10:00 a.m. ET on www.steveharvey.com, has attracted 508,000 viewers since it debuted and continues to attract approximately 20,000 more followers each week.

"NewTek TriCaster offers a reliable solution, providing fans with more of what they are craving ? a fun way to start their day with us and our guests live in the studio," said Steve Harvey, the Steve Harvey Morning Show. "And, at the same time, we can introduce our show to new audiences on the Internet."

"By taking his number one radio show to the Web, Steve Harvey is turning his millions of listeners into Steve Harvey Show studio viewers," said Philip Nelson, senior vice president, strategic development, NewTek Inc. "Using TriCaster to live stream top radio shows puts progressive radio producers at the forefront of the Internet revolution."

"With TriCaster, I can produce and live stream the show, using five camera inputs, double box shots of Steve and his guests, and video replays during commercial breaks, all without breaking a sweat,? said Daniel Ferguson, video producer/editor, the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

With TriCaster, anyone can simultaneously produce, live stream, broadcast and project HD and SD network-style productions. A single operator or small team can create sophisticated productions while switching between multiple cameras, virtual inputs and live virtual sets, while automatically inserting clips, titles and motion graphics with multi-channel effects. In addition to being used by the Steve Harvey Morning Show, TriCaster is used by Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, ESPN Radio, MTV, FOX Sports and many other national, regional and local broadcasters.

Insider #149 - Game Demographics
The blood, gore, adrenalin challenges that were unveiled at E3 and enjoyed at ComicCon are fun to look at, easy to hold but are they really the games people want to plunk down their credit cards to own or rent time with? While mobs of people play educational, informational, stimulating games our kid huddles in his room and mumbles "The Few, The Proud, The Gamers." Read More
